… I suggest between 0800-0815 US Pacific Time - the West Coast will be out of bed while it will still be early evening in Western Europe. Twitter ranks novelty over popularity, so a sudden surge will look like breaking news and hopefully gain enough attention to to go viral and sustain for hours - this happened in June when a trend about MTV airing “Uptown Girls” converged with one discussing confusion over the date of her death.

It hasn’t appeared so I presume it hasn’t passed moderation…
Is [Larry King] saying the story was just showbiz trivia to which he begrudgingly lowered himself in the reality TV era? It was quite literally a matter of life and death. Brittany Murphy would very likely be alive today if her mother and husband had summoned medical aid upon hearing the words “I’m dying” which Brittany had, by her mother’s own admission in the interview, spoken an hour before she collapsed. It is astounding to me that a journalist and broadcaster of King’s stature should not think to ask Sharon Murphy to explain why they did not act.
